For this concert, entitled “Celebrating the American Spirit”, we are going to pack as much into one patriotic celebration as possible–favorite American songs, a salute to our armed forces, Aaron Copland’s “Lincoln Portrait”, a sing-along, cannons, and of course, fireworks. We are pulling out all the stops for the Rapides Symphony’s 50th Season this year! It all starts with our annual September 24th Pops on the River concert.
